Dear All,
How SAP S/4 HANA can help clients who's sole business depends upon their e-commerce websites. For example one of my previous clients used to buy products on mass scale from a big chip manufacturing company and used to sell on retail basis. They have developed a share point portal and connected to SAP back end with the help of RFC's. Now because we have complete new UI experience, can SAP provide any end to end solution where such a client can implement S/4 HANA and their e-commerce portal is ready with all data.

sProcurement: how supplier facing UI is provided ?
Dear All,
I am very excited to see that SAP has combined SLC, SRM & MM PUR into one. That's great. But one thing is not clear to me, How the supplier will access client's portal for registration/submitting quotes ? If it is through Ariba, what about industries where law does not allow cloud solutions ?

I hopé you are doing well. I'm working with SAP ERP on S/4HANA , could you please let me know the Catalog (HANA), that show the tables (ERP) or this need to be imported with SLT ?? I'm not sure how to reply tables.
Note
In other scenarios with HANA SP8 the tables from ERP are imported with BODS.

S4/HANA new Installation
Dear comunity, we are facing an implementation project with S4/HANA (Business Suite 4 for HANA). I read a lot of documentation, but yet is not clear to me how to do a new deploy of the platform.
I could not find any specific S4/HANA guide, and the specific installation media is not available (I have used the S number from the licensed costumer).
Do you have any of you some experience installing S4/HANA from scratch?
The documentation lends me to think that i need install business suite for HANA, then the Simple Finance add-on, and then make the switch to the new ABAP code.
Your help will be appreciated.

Ì`ve read that it will be possible in near future to deploy CRM 7.0 on ERP (on Premise) in one central S/4HANA System.
What does that mean?
Do I have ERP an CRM with one SID in the central S/4HANA System?
Middleware will be obsolete? I will only have one table for Businesspartners for ERP and CRM?

S4HANA co-deployment: how to migrate data?
Hi all,
we would like to deploy S4HANA next to our existing ERP systems in order to build up a completely new system which is "hassle free" of any old Content and does consolidate data of our different ERP systems.
However, there is now the question in how to migrate the data of our old ERP systems to the S4HANA (the S4 is already completely set up with sFIN 2.0)
In various slide decks, we have seen the option of using SAP Data Services for data Migration.
So are there any RDS packages ready to deploy for DS which will extract the data from our old systems in order to deploy them to the S4 box?

Are there any functional differences between Suite on HANA and S/4 HANA?
Hi all,
I checked the FAQ for S/4 HANA and the roadmap but it's still not clear to me.
The customer has SAP ECC on any DB, wants to migrate to ECC on HANA on premise edition(not interested in cloud),
If I am right, currently there is no two different products to download from the SAP MArket place ; such as S/4 vs SoH.
You just download EP7 for ERP 6, NW and HANA DB, and you are SoH. If you add Simple Finance add on now you're on S/4 HANA. Right?
Two questions here;
1) Are there any other functional differences between SoH and S/4?
2) If customers wants to go with SoH(no sFin add-on yet), what's the functional difference between regular ECC Finance on any DB and the Finance in SoH(w/o simple finance add on)? Just reduced number of tables?

SAP Hana Sizing - minimal configuration
Hi gurus, Actually I have one Server running SAP ECC 606 with IDES and Oracle database for demo, this works fine. Now I want to have one Server with IDES and SAP ECC 606 but with SAP Hana for demo too.
My actual server is 12 GB RAM and 200GB database oracle. Which could be my minimal RAM memory to run SAP ECC 606 with Hana??, just for demom no production enviroment.

SAP HANA - Data Provisioning
In SAP HANA architecture, it is mentioned that SAP HANA provides real-time data replication and SAP Data services.In Such Casae,why customer has to buy again seperately SAP LT replication server or SAP BODS licenses inorder to transfer data from source system to HANA?
Can anyone please clarify ?
